St. Mary in the Mountains is a part of the Episcopal Diocese of SanJoaquin and of The Episcopal Church. Our mission is to celebrate and proclaim, by word and action, the inclusive love of Jesus Christ in Jamestown and in Tuolumne County. We believe all people are loved by God and are welcome to worship with us.

The Episcopal Church strives to live by the message of Christ, in which there are no outcasts and all are welcome. We are a sacramental and worship-oriented church that promotes thoughtful debate about what God is calling us to do and be, as followers of Christ.
